Smoothie Inspiration - The From Scratch Body

Need some healthy, tasty smoothie inspiration? Start with these 3 and then make it your own!

My favourite thing to do - and essentially the whole point of what I’m doing here, is to give you guys inspiration and ideas, and then let you play with it as much as you want from there. These smoothies are a perfect example of that. I’ve put together 3 smoothies that will provide you with great energy, taste and nutritional value. But how closely you follow these recipes, or if you just borrow some inspiration, is up to you.

Smoothie 1: Summer Sunshine

  • 1 banana

  • 1 orange

  • 1 apricot

  • 1/2 carrot

  • 1 tbsp flaxseed

  • A splash of coconut water (or regular water)

Smoothie 3: Green and Smooth

  • A handful of spinach

  • 1 kiwi

  • 1 small or 1/2 large avocado

  • A dollop of natural yoghurt or skyr

  • 1 tsp matcha powder

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • A splash of almond milk or other milk of your choice

Smoothie 3: Peanut Butter Dream

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 banana

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup milk/almond milk/coconut milk or other milk of your choice

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp turmeric

All of these smoothies are tasty as well as packed with nutrition. Enjoy!
